Representative of Phima Voyages in the partner country
The local agency will be completely independent in its management.
The local agency and Phima Voyages Marketing in France will be closely linked through their philosophy. Phima Voyages will translate trips to the partner country in 3 languages and promote the tour packages on its website as well as in international exhibitions by representing the representative agencies.
Being a local Phima representative – responsibilities and duties
- Be legally registered with an operating license, both locally and nationally, and up-to-date duty and tax payments to be allowed to offer and sell tourist holidays.
- Introduce yourself and act as a local representative of Phima Voyages.
- Know the history of Phima Voyages and values, as well as the philosophy.
- Have a professional account on behalf of the company in the currency of the country and in US Dollar to facilitate payments.
- Set up tour packages (at least 2 packages in 2019) with detailed explanatory text and photos for publication and purchase price (knowing that most requests will be tailor-made).
- Establish a professional network to react to customer requests within 48 hours.
- Keep an eye on what’s happening in your destination, the competition, learn about new things on the spot, new destinations or new service offers. This also for the sake of being able to share information on social networks and should be passed on to Phima Voyages.
- Commit to looking for responsible suppliers according to the philosophy of the company.
- Manage clients on-site according to agency philosophy in French and English, follow-up, and customer satisfaction.
- Respect quality standards.
- During the customer’s journey, accompany the customer remotely, be attentive and on demand to answer questions and concerns immediately.
Responsibilities of Phima Voyages
- Translates packages in English, French and German
- Writes and shares articles for a country page on the Phima Voyages web page
- Puts the tour packages on the website and shares them in Social Networks
- Includes tour packages in customer and prospect mailings
- Creates contacts through email-marketing and at international trade shows with other international travel agencies and tour operators
- Manages customer payments and currency risk to facilitate payment to customers in Europe
- Conducts videoconference meetings once a month to share news, best practices and state of reservations
- Passes information on responsible tourism in the country of the representative agency
